While pursuing my usual weekend photography session at a Chennai beach in India, I seized the opportunity to capture the fishermen returning from their morning catch. As I focused on framing the boats bathed in the gentle morning sunlight, two friends unexpectedly crossed my view, their faces adorned with genuine smiles and laughter. On that cold Wednesday night, at the time of the image, the weather forecast promised that the crescent moon would appear between the buildings in the background, and there I stayed. It appeared in the sky as expected, and waiting to photograph it presented me with this beautiful Noir image.
