I didn't take much notice of it but after an hour or so, I started getting curious and paid it more attention. The boat started getting closer and I could see an armada of sail boats of various ages and characters heading towards me. It was then I realised that this parade was to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the James Craig. This magnificent sailing ship was built in Sunderland, England, and launched on 18 February 1874. In her early life James Craig carried cargo far and wide, rounding Cape Horn 23 times. She is Australia's oldest working tall-ship.
