End of Summer by Kirsten Bruening
September 22th marks the first day of fall, which sadly and subsequently, marks the official ending of summer. Summer is a season that represents youth, carefree attitudes, beauty, and free spirited living. So when it's time to say good bye to summer, it can always feel a little sad. The first flower begins to lose their petals, the sun stands lower and there is a soft light early in the morning. And yet we should look forward to autumn and winter, like Albert Camus said, "In the deep of winter I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer."
Early Beauties by Kirsten Bruening
I took this photo at an early morning during a run with our dog. The sun had just risen and the morning dew was still on the flowers. No one can have a sunrise like the one we saw the day before.
Flower Dreams by Kirsten Bruening
This photo was taken on an early summer morning when I was walking with our dog. The sun was still relatively low. As a result, the flowers and plants were bathed in soft light.
