The scope of this photo in the Diploma of Food Photography was to take the same photo changing the light direction: backlight, side light, front light, and so on... the backlight always wins. Helps to enhance the curves of the fruits. Creates the feeling of homemade jam, like Granny, used to prepare.

This photo of onion was taken with a Canon 20D camera and a 50mm lens with one Multiblitz 250W studio light. It was a photography exercise for vegetable / still life photography with one flashlight in an improvised studio in my apartment back in 2005. I also used one softbox 70cm.

Drawing you in with its juicy pinks and shades of dancing greens. I'm using a bounce card to enhance the texture and light. So many flavor combinations and garnishes to explore.
