Sweet Raspberry Donuts by Keshia Sophia
As a child I loved nothing more than a warm, jam donut from our local bakery. What I remember most is the warm, fluffy texture of the fresh dough mixed with the sweet explosion of raspberry jam. The magic is in the filling which is what I wanted to capture in this photograph. What stood out for me was the combination of textures in the donuts, so I used natural light and a shallow focus to highlight this.

My grandmother used to bake these wonderful cookies every Sunday during our family meetings. Its one of my greatest childhood memories, baking as a kid was always a highlight for me.
Market Day by Keshia Sophia
The west of Ireland is known for its fresh seafood. Salmon is my absolute favourite catch of the day, if anything for the colour. We love cooking with fresh fish in our home but there is something to be said for appreciating the beauty of a food in its raw form. I chose to use a natural light that would gently skim across the surface of the fillet to better showcase its freshness. The addition of a little dill and salt better accentuated the clean texture of the fish.
