Getting Started with Award and Submission

Thanks for registering with Light and Composition. As a registered photographer you have the opportunity to obtain the maximum exposure from our massive photographic network! Not only you can submit photographs to the award, but it also gives you the opportunity to get into the world’s top 100 photographers list. There are few simple steps that you can follow to get started with the award.

If you are already logged in, move to Step 3 for submitting your photographs and participating in the award.

Step 1: Login to Your Dashboard

1. The easiest way to get all your access is your dashboard.
To get into your dashboard, you can simple login by using the “Dashboard” link or user icon from the top right of our website.

2. Alternatively, you can login by visiting “Manage Your Account” from footer.

Step 2: Use Your Login Credentials or Social Network

Please use your login credentials that we have emailed you just after you completed payment. You can also login using the Social Network, which is the most secure way.

However, if you haven’t received the login credentials email, we strongly suggest you to contact with our 24/7 support.

Step 3: Navigate to the Award Section

1. Once logged in to your dashboard, you can navigate to the award section, which gives you the direct access to Add / Modify Photographer’s Profile, Submit your photographs Jury, and Selected Photographs Submission.

Please note, you can only get access to those pages when you are an active Light & Composition registered photographer, or already renewed the award submission renewal.

2. Another easiest way to navigate to Award is the footer of our website, which is same for every single page, where you can also find all other sections of our Light & Composition.

Step 4: Create / Update Your Photographer’s Profile

1. Please visit the “Photographer’s Profile Page” and create / update your profile.

If you already submitted your photographer’s profile, or you are an old registered photographer, who has renewed the award submission then move to the Step 5, as you only need to fill up your photographer’s profile once, unless you want to add your latest achievements or your up-to-day information.

2. Please follow all the instructions given in the photographer’s profile page, and fill it up with correct up-to-date genuine information. Please notice the biography writing style, as if Light & Composition is presenting you to the vast audience (write in the Third person, not First person). Also make sure you don’t leave any of the field empty.

Make sure you immediately follow Step 5, after completing Step 4, as your profile will not get approved if you do not submit any photographs to jury.

Step 5: Award Submission to Jury

1. To submit your photographs for the award, you must first use the Award Submission to Jury page. Our international jury of professionals in the field of photography is delighted to review your work.

If you already received the selection email from us, follow the Step 6 to submit your selected photographs.

2. Getting selection from our jury is a must step. Please follow all the instructions given in the award submission to jury page, and fill it up with the required info.

Make sure you provide correct links in the required filed, which you can simply copy and paste from Flickr, Facebook, Picasa, or any self-hosted online gallery.

Please wait 3-7 working days to get the result. If you want to know the status of your submission to jury, you are always welcome to contact our 24/7 support.

Step 6: Receiving the Selection Email

1. Normally, within 3-7 working days, you will receive the selection email, once we get the score from our jury with selection and serial.

2. Look for the email with subject “Your Photographs Selected for Award,” from lightandcomposition@gmail.com.

3. Please notice the selection links and serial numbers given just before the links.

Step 7: Submit Selected Photograph with Details

1. To submit your selected photographs to the award, you need to use the Selected Photograph Submission page.

2. Please follow the step-by-step instructions given in the selected photograph submission page, and fill it up with the required info.

Please note, you can only get access to this page when you are an active Light & Composition registered photographer, or already renewed the award submission renewal.

We will email your back once your selected photograph is approved and published. The normal processing time is 3-7 working days. If you want to know the status of your submission, you are always welcome to contact our 24/7 support.
