A Tale of Happiness and Sadness by Karthick Saravanan
During the photo walk in the streets of Kannagi Nagar, Chennai, India, while strolling along the street, I encountered a group of girls playing. As I aimed my camera to capture the scene, one of the girls noticed and laughed, curious about photography. She eagerly asked me to teach her, and with excitement, she clicked the shutter button to take her first photo. Afterward, she enthusiastically posed for two more shots, displaying her newfound interest in photography.

During the photo walk session for World Water Day on March 22, 2023, in the city of Chennai, we visited the century-old waterworks at Kilpack, inaugurated in 1914, which stands as the oldest heritage site in India. In the early morning light, we patiently awaited the sunrise to capture this striking image using the monochrome mode's sunrise shadow feature, showcasing the timeless beauty and historical significance of this iconic landmark.
