If you love black and white photography like I do, then you know that it is not always easy to photograph plants and flowers in black and white. I am always looking for the perfect flower or plant. It must not be too dark, but also not too light. It must be interesting. It must have interesting petals, but it must also have enough colour to be attractive and interesting. This photo was taken on a sunny morning, shortly after sunrise. The leaves are caught by the light and still form a nice contrast to the background.
Two Friends by Kirsten Bruening
This photograph shows two friends taking a walk together in the surrounding buildings of the Louvre Museum. The area around the Louvre is characterized by old buildings and narrow streets that just invite to create photographs in black and white. Paris is the city of black and white photography. A color photograph would never truly reflect the charm and beauty of this city.
