Photography took a backseat while Ronnie obtained his college degree. After graduation, he purchased his first camera but was unable to produce the images that he saw in his mind. He then took a few continuing education classes to learn the technical aspects of the camera and realized there was so much more to learn about photography. So Ronnie enrolled in the professional program at Southeastern Center for the Arts in Atlanta. The school was operated by Jeanne & Neil Chaput de Saintonge, who currently operate Rocky Mountain School of Photography. He spent 14 years living in Alaska and this gave him unbelievable opportunities to experience nature and capture many images. Ronnie’s photograph Misty Morning Duck in the category of Artistic Photography scored 74 (Value 13.5, Clarity 14, Composition 18.5, Style 14, and Skill 14) from our international jury of 5. Our team decided to honor these top scorers as 2nd and 3rd places with a page in the next issue of our magazine, where the photographers will share their stories of these photographs. We will also publish their interviews in the Exclusive Interview section on our Web.

Photography started off as a hobby for Kurien Koshy Yohannan but now it plays a major role in his life – so much so that he plans to slowly start making a living from it. Koshy believes there is so much beauty around us that can be captured; natureis full of beauty waiting for us to capture it, if we have the eye and receptiveness for it. The Attraction of the Forbidden, by Stefan Thallner
Stefan Thallner is 23 years old and lives in Allhartsberg, Lower Austria. He likes the country very much because in Austria, there are lots of beautiful and multifaceted places, especially the alps. After he finished college with specialization in technical computer science he started working as a web developer. That is when His grandfather gave him his old Canon EOS D30, which is Stefan’s first DSLR in the year 2007. It was him who awoke his interests in photography and it’s because of him that his biggest hobby got taking pictures now. He also runs The Drugstore Gallery with his partner Soraya Schofield which showcases their work and eight other photographers. They have taken the gallery to the Affordable Art Fairs in Bristol, London & Paris and hope to exhibit at the New York AAF.
