Prize:
We will publish a special interview with Shirren Lim in the Photographer with Style section of the magazine, and the Exclusive Interview section on our website.Based on the social media responses, awarded photographs received on the 31st month, we set the maximum number of Facebook Like at 500, Tweet at 100, Stumble at 5000, and our subscribers Comments at 50. For this month, we had a head-to-head contest between the top scorers and the photographs that scored the highest became winners of the Photo of the Month. Our team decided to honor these top scorers as 2nd and 3rd places with a page in the next issue of our magazine, where the photographers will share their stories of these photographs. Mark Paulda is a multifaceted photographer who known for his dark and visually elusive, yet intensely illuminated and inspirational photographs. His work represents profound observations into the nature of the world and humanity that surrounds him. Utilizing his intuitive skill with the camera, Paulda’s work takes everyday scenes and environments around him and creates abstracted forms and shapes that illuminate, evolve, and coagulate before the viewer. Much more than a travel photographer, he creates a sense of sensuality that is evocative of a Renaissance painting. Mark Paulda’s photograph London Cross Traffic, in the category of Motion Photography scored 71 (Value 13, Clarity 12.5, Composition 18.5, Style 13.5, Skill 13.5) from our international jury of 5, and gains a good position in the competition. The number of Tweets and Facebook shares, StumbleUpon Organic Views boosted the popularity of the photograph a notch, raising its score by 4.571 from social media (Facebook Share 2.15, Tweets 1.8, StumbleUpon Organic View 0.621, Comments 0), and in total 75.571. Call for Perseverance, by Yousef Deeb
Yousef Deeb is a passionate photographer, who lives in Gaza, Palestine. He works as a photographer on the Zain Pannet website and for a French press agency. He is spending his career life perusing the smile, moments, and features on people faces from his country. All he wants is the world knows his beloved country despite the non-stop war since ten years ago, and to convey that how people deserve to live in peace. Yousef Deeb’s photograph “Call for Perseverance,” in the category of Documentary Photography scored 69 (Value 13.5, Clarity 13, Composition 17, Style 13, Skill 12.5) from our international jury of 5, and gains a good position in the competition. The number of Tweets and Facebook shares, StumbleUpon Organic Views boosted the popularity of the photograph a notch, raising its score by 6.458 from social media (Facebook Share 5.54, Tweets 0.85, StumbleUpon Organic View 0.068, Comments 0), and in total 75.458. Born in Ouarzazate in 1987, Abdellah Azizi is a passionate photographer from Morocco, who loves to photograph South Moroccan landscapes, people, folklorists’ bands, and the life of the rich part of Africa. Having worked most of his career on computer graphics trying to replicate reality he has found that it’s irreplaceable. Ahmed Mohammed Albadawy, Architect and Photographer. Born in Mansoura, Egypt, in 1985. He is one of the founders of Gozour, architecture and design studio “http://www.gozourstudio.com/”. Ahmed started his photography career in April 2010. His photography perspective grows up dramatically with Architecture. From historical places his photography found it’s character and features. Ahmed’s photograph The Most Sacred Place, in the category of Islamic Photography, scored 68 (Value 12.5, Clarity 12.5, Composition 17.5, Style 12.5, Skill 13) from our international jury of 5, and gains a good position in the competition.
