Prize:
We will publish a special interview with Minh Nghia Le in the Photographer with Style section of the magazine, and the Exclusive Interview section on our website.Based on the social media responses, awarded photographs received on the 35th month, we set the maximum number of Facebook Like at 500, Tweet at 200, Stumble at 5000, and our subscribers Comments at 50. For this month, we had a head-to-head contest between the top scorers and the photographs that scored the highest became winners of the Photo of the Month. Our team decided to honor these top scorers as 2nd and 3rd places with a page in the next issue of our magazine, where the photographers will share their stories of these photographs. Give to Live, by Zahraa Al Hassani
Zahraa Hashim Salih Al Hasani is a passionate photographer, lives in Iraq, and work as designer in Zain Telecommunications for more than 6 years. Resources in Iraq are mostly limited, thus she used her photography skills to get a visuals for her designs. She started photography with Sony H7 and Carl Zeiss lenses, and then moved to Nikon. Graphic Design has helped her to strengthen her photographic perspective. Zahraa believes she is here to acquire knowledge from the trove of purist photography. Zahraa’s photograph Give to Live in the category of Conceptual Photography scored 67 (Value 13, Clarity 12, Composition 17.5, Style 12.5, Skill 12) from our international jury of 5, and gains a good position in the competition. The number of Tweets and Facebook shares, StumbleUpon Organic Views boosted the popularity of the photograph a notch, raising its score by 8.209 from social media (Facebook Share 5, Tweets 1.8, StumbleUpon Organic View 0.309, Comments 1.1), and in total 75.209. This photograph is the winner of Photograph of the Month – 35th Month, 2nd Place.

Mai Phuong Duong and her husband Minh Nghia Le are two Singapore-based photographers. Photography has nothing to do with their daily job but it has become their passion for years. They just hope everyone enjoy their photos as how they see the world. Mai Phuong’s photograph Yellow and Green, in the category of Close-Up Photography, scored 71 (Value 14, Clarity 13, Composition 18, Style 13, Skill 13) from our international jury of 5, and gains a good position in the competition. The number of Tweets and Facebook shares, StumbleUpon Organic Views boosted the popularity of the photograph, raising its score by 3.751 from social media (Facebook Share 1.63, Tweets 1.45, StumbleUpon Organic View 0.471, Comments 0.2), and in total 74.751. This photograph is the winner of Photograph of the Month – 35th Month, 3rd Place.

Dimitrios Zavos is an independent, freelance travel and wildlife photographer and writer. Born on the beautiful Greek island of Samos in 1980, Dimitrios moved to Athens when he was just two years old. After spending his childhood and teeange years in Athens, he moved to the United Kingdom in 2007. Dimitrios is currently based in Farnborough, England. Dimitrios’s photograph Deer in the Morning Light, in the category of Wildlife Photography, scored 69 (Value 11.5, Clarity 13, Composition 18, Style 13, Skill 13.5) from our international jury of 5, and gains a good position in the competition. The number of Tweets and Facebook shares, StumbleUpon Organic Views boosted the popularity of the photograph, raising its score by 5.59 from social media (Facebook Share 3.71, Tweets 1.125 StumbleUpon Organic View 0.355, Comments 0.4), and in total 74.59. This photograph is the winner of Photograph of the Month – 35th Month, 3rd Place.
