Born in Kyiv, Ukraine, in 1967, Sergiy Kadulin grew up in the family with his sister and mother, as his father died when they were two years old. He graduated from the military aviation academy (avionics engineer), and later on, from IBR MBA school, Ukraine. While majority of his professional career was with information technology, where he worked for such companies as APC, hp, Microsoft, and with Apple, but photography for years remained his greatest passion and hobby. In June 2013, he left his present job and IT career to focus full time on developing his own professional photography business. Sergiy’s photograph Starry Night and the Erupting Volcano awarded in the Photo of the Day Award category: Night Photography, as it scored a solid 73 (Value 14, Clarity 13.5, Composition 18.5, Style 13, Skill 14) from our international jury of 5. Rainy Day at the River, by Ronnie Glover
Photography took a backseat while Ronnie obtained his college degree. After graduation, he purchased his first camera but was unable to produce the images that he saw in his mind. He then took a few continuing education classes to learn the technical aspects of the camera and realized there was so much more to learn about photography. So Ronnie enrolled in the professional program at Southeastern Center for the Arts in Atlanta. The school was operated by Jeanne & Neil Chaput de Saintonge, who currently operate Rocky Mountain School of Photography. He spent 14 years living in Alaska and this gave him unbelievable opportunities to experience nature and capture many images. Ronnie also enjoys sports and travel photography and the experience of different cultures. Glover’s photograph Rainy Day at the River, in the category of Nature Photography scored 68.5 (Value 13, Clarity 13, Composition 17.5, Style 13, Skill 13) from our international jury of 5, and gains a good position in the competition. The number of Tweets and Facebook shares, StumbleUpon Organic Views boosted the popularity of the photograph a notch, raising its score to 6.465 from social media (Facebook Share 4.36, Tweets 2.1, StumbleUpon Organic View 0.005, and Comments 0), and in total 74.965, the second highest score in this competition for the 44th Month. Mostly lives in Chittagong, Tareq Uddin Ahmned was born in Bangladesh in 1980. He started photography back in 2011, and got highlighted within a short period of time. Tareq loves bird photography, and has traveled many districts across his country for it. He is one of the founder members of Chittagong Bird Club (C.B.C.). Though he is a bird photographer, he also loves to capture flowers and butterflies, and locally famous for his macro photographs. At the end of 2013, some of his photographs got selected and published in local newspaper. Now he is looking forward to expand his working field globally. Tareq’s photograph Crimson Sunbird in the category of Wildlife Photography scored 68 (Value 13, Clarity 12.5, Composition 18, Style 12.5, Skill 12) from our international jury of 5, and gains a good position in the competition. The number of Tweets and Facebook shares, StumbleUpon Organic Views boosted the popularity of the photograph a notch, raising its score to 5.005 from social media (Facebook Share 3.1, Tweets 1.8, StumbleUpon Organic View 0.005, and Comments 0.1), and in total 73.005, the fifth highest score in this competition for the 44th Month.
