Originally from Dhaka, Bangladesh, Rezwan Razzaq lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia now. He graduated in Software Engineering from Abertay University, UK and currently working at a renowned multinational tech company as a Software Engineer in Malaysia. He has been doing photography with Film SLR (Nikon N75) since his teenage but his interest in this media took a major turn in 2009 when he started out with DSLR (Nikon D90). Rezwan’s photograph The Flame Thrower awarded in the Photo of the Day Award in the category of Artistic Photography, as it scored a moderate 70 (Value 13, Clarity 13, Composition 18, Style 13, Skill 13) from our international jury of 5. The number of organic and total social share along with the organic reach and comments boosted the popularity of the photograph, raising its score to 5.52 from social media (Organic Share 1.19, Total Share 3.41, Organic Reach/View 0.92, and Comments 0), and in total 75.52, the highest score in this competition for the 70th Month. Lost in Thoughts, by Shirren Lim
Born in Penang Island, Malaysia, in 1970, Shirren would find herself moving cities over the course of her life. She is now based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Shirren took up photography in 2009, as she thought it would be an interesting habit, later she discovered it as her true passion. Shirren loves portraitures best. To her, the expressions people wear are so beautiful, so telling, so uncovered in their sincerity. Lim’s photograph Lost in Thoughts, in the category of Candid Photography scored a solid 70 (Value 13, Clarity 13, Composition 18, Style 13, Skill 13) from our international jury of 5, and gains a good position in the competition. Zahraa Al Hassani is a passionate photographer, and works as designer in Zain Telecommunications for more than 6 years. Graduating from the University of Technology Bagdad, her first job was at Wacther Company Ltd. as a graphic designer for constructions. A year later she joined Iraqi-American Chamber for Commerce and Industry. Tisha’s photograph, The Guidance, in the category of Islamic Photography scored 67.5 (Value 12, Clarity 13, Composition 18, Style 12.5, Skill 12) from our international jury of 5.
