Born in Penang Island, Malaysia, in 1970, Shirren would find herself moving cities over the course of her life. She is now based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Shirren took up photography in 2009, as she thought it would be an interesting habit, later she discovered it as her true passion. Shirren loves portraitures best. To her, the expressions people wear are so beautiful, so telling, so uncovered in their sincerity. Shirren’s photograph Four Monks awarded in the Photo of the Day Award in the category of Documentary Photography, as it scored a solid 72 (Value 13, Clarity 13.5, Composition 18.5, Style 13.5, Skill 13.5) from our international jury of 5. Over a career spanning three decades Claudio has delved into a number of photographic disciplines including: weddings, portraits, product, corporate and stock. His current focus is on travel, wildlife, nature and adding to his extensive stock library. Claudio’s photograph Emperors on Abbey Road, in the category of Wildlife Photography scored a solid 72 (Value 13, Clarity 13, Composition 19, Style 13, Skill 14) from our international jury of 5, and gains a good position in the competition.
