Martin is a qualified DEAT / FGASA field guide and internationally accredited Emergency Responder with extensive experience in leading 4WD safaris throughout Southern Africa as well as in the game parks of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. He has been active in establishing new routes and locations for various safari companies, has led photo safaris in Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. He has also guided scuba trips on the island of Zanzibar. Martin is thoroughly knowledgeable about all aspects of southern Africa’s natural history and fascinating cultures. His people skills and the love of the outdoors have made him a very sought after guide. Born in Penang Island, Malaysia, in 1970, Shirren would find herself moving cities over the course of her life. She is now based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Shirren took up photography in 2009, as she thought it would be an interesting habit, later she discovered it as her true passion. Shirren loves portraitures best. To her, the expressions people wear are so beautiful, so telling, so uncovered in their sincerity. With her photo-taking, she tries and does justice to capture humanity in its many forms. Saniar Rahman Rahul was the first winner for ‘Photo of the Month Award’ in June 2010. He was fascinated by seeing his father taking pictures with a camera while his family was in Iraq during his childhood. Later in life, in 1997, while he became very much attached with his profession of ‘graphic design’, Rahul rediscovered the creative side of photography. Tisha Clinkenbeard works have been in exhibits at The Fine Arts Center of Hot Springs, Black Box Gallery in Portland, and in several fine art shows in Texas.
