Dirk Heindoerfer

Dirk Heindoerfer is 44 years old, born and raised in a small city in Germany, and lives now in Taipei, Taiwan. He grew up in Germany, where he later attended university and received a master degree in Marketing and Computer Sciences. His love for photography started very early on becoming the family photographer. Due to his job in the IT industry he was blessed to travel all over the world and fell in love with the synergy or conflict between nature and man made structures. His photography is completely self taught specializing in Urban Landscapes and Night photography. He is inspired by the contrast in life, being civilization against nature, light against darkness or ancient against modern. Dirk is a huge SciFi movie fan, which influences his style of photography. He lives now in Taipei, Taiwan and works as a Luxury Real Estate & Architectural Photographer throughout Asia and teaches workshops on Night Photography.
