Soumya Geetha, Consultant by profrssional and travels often to US and Europe on work. A self learnt photographer which happened to her by accident when she started blogging for her garden. The interest landed her buying her first DSLR. She is more interested in travel and street. Her current project is on getting to know hidden culture of South India.
Jerry Caruthers
Jerry Caruthers lives in the USA, and has been shooting off and on for about three years now, as he really enjoys photography. Jerry started with a Nikon D60, and then to a Nikon D300. He now uses a Canon 5D Mark II. His goals are to continually work on his skill and composition. He is not a natural artist, as he has to think about the shots. He hopes to get into some freelance work to start that journey, and would love to travel the world and be a professional photographer.
Abhijit Bhowmick
Born in Kolkata, India, Abhijit Bhowmick grew up in the city of joy. He had been using a Hotshot camera (film version of today’s point and shoot cameras) since 12 years old, and this interest in capturing moments later culminated into an intense passion for photography. As he grew up and felt the urge to stop time, he found photography to be the only and ultimate medium to do so. After completing his 4 year course in Computer Science and Engineering he joined the IT industry as a consulting engineer just like any other career oriented human being. During his 10 years of work life he found solace in photography which in a way was a great stress reliever for him. He is working currently as a Network Consulting Engineer with a well known networking company.
He owns a photography and cinematography company called 35mm World studio and Marjari Films respectively that produces stunning creative and candid wedding photographs and cinema style wedding films. He is an official photographer of India’s oldest football club ‘Mohun Bagan’, his work can be seen on the web page of MB football AC. Recently he has ventured into wildlife photography and is current a regular visitor to Bandhavgarh National Park as he believes in spreading awareness about the flora and fauna of Bandhav to the common mass. Abhijit is also a car rally photographer and have covered few car rally in Eastern India. His primary interest lies in shooting landscapes, wild life and portrait.
