Tisha Clinkenbeard
Photography captured Tisha years ago before we had the digital wonders for cameras. She became more serious with her hobby after she received a camera for Mother’s Day in 2010. Nature, travel and some still life photos make up most of Tisha’s portfolio. Since she and her husband do travel often and spend as much time outdoors as possible she has a lot to work with! Life offers many opportunities to capture the things she sees as she wanders this earth – usually adventures with her husband. Her goal is to share what she finds Round & About – which was the inspiration for her photo blog: foundroundandabout.com. Tisha’s works have been in exhibits at The Fine Arts Center of Hot Springs, AR, Black Box Gallery in Portland, OR, ART120 in Taylor, TX, ArtSpace in Round Rock, TX, Georgetown Art Center in Georgetown, TX and at the Austin Bergstrom International Airport. Two of her photos appeared in the Birds & Blooms monthly online newsletter – April and December of 2011. She was recently interviewed for “An Artist Speaks” on BlogTalk radio as part of the Featured Artist series. You can listen to the interview here.
So far, 61 of Tisha’s photos have been Photo of the Day in Light & Composition online magazine as well as a photo, “Alaskan Reflection” as 1st place photo of the month, 66th month, as well as “Snowy Pond” 3rd place for the same month, “Fishing Reflection” for 2nd place photo of the month, 50th month, “Spring Lily” for 2nd place for photo of the month, 47th month, and “Grasshopper in the Rain” for 3rd place photo of the month, 60th month. Silvia Casali
Silvia Casali started experimenting with photography during summer 2010, after she received her first camera as a birthday gift. She had never before been fascinated by photography, because she thought it was not that creative of a process, just a very objective representation of reality. But soon she realized that she was wrong. Even though photography is not her main profession, since that very moment she has tried to practice photography almost every day, learning a little bit of the science related to it. Silvia is grateful to her teachers and friends at Fotografiaprofessionale, who testing her creativity and sensitivity to transform her pictures into something similar to art.
