Peter Voerman

Peter Voerman worked as a social worker in the youthcare from 1982. When his youngest son was born (1986) he started taking photographs. From 1990 Peter started as a freelance professional photographer, specialized in taking portraits and documentary photographs on social issues. He made photo shoots from the care for children (foster parenting), children of refugees in the Netherlands, children from poor families in Nepal. He also made six photo albums.

From 2000 he has his own photo studio in an old school building. Peter is also working for the government and for NGO’s, specialized in helping children. In 2005 he started taking dance and theater photographs as well. He won several international prices.
