Sefik Kaplan

Sefik Kaplan was born on 1st July, 1986, in the city of Diyarbakir, in southeastern Turkey. After completing his elementary and high school education, he joined university, and majored in Tourism and Hotel Management. In 2007, he started his photography, and completed his study from the Mersin Photography Association. To him photography is like a poetry, which transforms our story as an expression of what it means to be a human. He loves doing street photography, as he believes it gives him the freedom to his expression. His work has criticized by the Art Center of Mediterranean theater studies.
