Welcome to Light & Composition University Photography Expeditions! Before embarking on this remarkable journey, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our Terms and Conditions. As you traverse breathtaking locales and immerse yourself in our photography expeditions, you’ll have the unique opportunity to absorb valuable tips and techniques from our esteemed guides.
Our carefully crafted programs are designed to cater to individuals of all levels, whether you’re an amateur photographer eager to enhance your craft or an enthusiast seeking to refine your existing skills. We strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where participants can learn, grow, and connect with fellow photography enthusiasts.
By booking for our expeditions, you agree to comply with the Terms and Conditions outlined below. These terms are in place to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants:
1. Special Requests
Please inform us of any special requests before departure, and we will do our best to accommodate them.
2. Booking and Payment
A non-refundable full expedition fee is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. Booking is on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to availability. All payments are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in our refund policy.
3. Participant Responsibilities
Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements and must bring the necessary equipment. Respectful behavior towards fellow participants, guides, and the environment is expected.
4. Cancellation and Changes
Light & Composition University may cancel or reschedule an expedition due to unforeseen circumstances. Alternative arrangements will be offered if this occurs. Changes may be made to the itinerary or program activities if necessary, while maintaining the quality and objectives of the expedition.
5. Liability
Light & Composition University prioritizes participant safety, but cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience during the expedition. Participants should obtain travel insurance to cover potential risks.
6. Inclusions & Exclusions
The expedition package includes transportation, accommodation (if selected and paid for), and daily activities mentioned in the itinerary. Airfare, insurance, visas, alcoholic beverages, and food and drinks are not included.
7. Alterations and Cancellations
Light & Composition University may make changes or cancel an expedition. Alternative options will be provided. Force Majeure events such as war, riots, terrorist activity, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, flood, or adverse weather conditions, are unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control.
8. Tour Leader
In case the designated leader cannot attend, a replacement will be arranged. If a replacement is not feasible, the tour will be canceled, and our alteration and cancellation policy will apply.
9. Price Changes
Prices, services, or other details mentioned in the tour description may be modified before entering into a contract. Prior notice will be given in such cases.
10. Transfers and Flight Booking
Airport/hotel transfers are applicable only if participants travel to the specified airport. Participants on different flights are responsible for their own transfer costs. Flight booking and payment are the client’s responsibility.
11. Flexibility of Itinerary
Our expeditions require flexibility, and the provided itinerary serves as an indication. It should not be considered a binding obligation.
12. Limitation of Liability
Light & Composition University is not liable for any loss or additional expenses caused by travel service delays or interruptions due to various reasons. Participants are responsible for any such losses or expenses.
13. Fitness to Travel
Participants affirm their fitness to travel. Light & Composition University reserves the right to assess clients’ suitability for the tour. Medical evidence may be required in some cases.
14. Medical Emergencies
We do not have medical personnel on our tours. Participants with medical conditions requiring emergency treatment must disclose this at the time of booking. We do not assume any responsibility in such circumstances.
15. Complaints
If you encounter any issues, please communicate them to the tour leader immediately. Light & Composition University is committed to addressing complaints in good faith.
16. Passports, Visas, and Permits
Clients must possess a valid passport and obtain all necessary visas, permits, and certificates. It is the client’s responsibility to acquire these documents.
17. Acceptance of Conditions
By completing the booking, you agree to abide by all the aforementioned conditions. The person making the booking binds all individuals included to these conditions.
