Fire of Spirit
One of my favorite metaphor to describe one’s spirit, is fire. In my imagination, everybody has a fire in their soul, which represents their spirit, vigor or timid, hidden under some ashes, or a bonfire of passion. Some are sea of flame; some are smaller sparks, and some flares while others glow. This is how I like to see and feel people around me. In this photograph by Rizwan Hasan, I can feel the soul of both the photographer and the performer in it, their incandescent spirits, Don’t you?
