Home of the Little Birds

In the old days, when we lived in the rural village, sometimes we noticed birds building nest on trees. Much less often, we would find birds building nest on top of a building structure. As children, we were curious to see the inside of the birds’ home. For some, we observed they laid eggs in them. After some time, the eggs hatched into little birds, almost all pink, a bit translucent and almost without feather. Day by day afterwards, feather started to grow on the little birds.

This photograph was taken by Rezawanul Haque. This home of the bird was built from a roof, with little worry of rains. The photograph brings back memory of my old days living in rural area.
