It’s a Super Busy Day

I start the day in a panic! I wake with only 50 minutes to reach the office, miles away. I eat breakfast and rush out the door, running towards the bus station. I ignore pleas from a poor old woman in the street, no time to stop, no time to ponder, or to have any thoughts about anyone’s misery. Time is marching on and I’m running late with hundreds of people around me rushing, not even looking at one another. I rush to the office and it’s a super busy day. I wade through the filing that’s piling up, but in one swift moment, the end of the day approaches and I’m still not finished. I rush home again, as I have social commitments waiting, so, once more I panic, and run. We no longer look back, at anyone, or anything…our lives are self-absorbed and now, this is how we are…each day melts into another and disappears, one day less…
