Life in waiting

There are times when all we have to do is wait, wait for a result, a decision, for a yes, wait for our dream to come true, wait for our life to happen. For that moment the world stops turning, time freezes, every thing seem to wait with us, kind of like the calm before the storm. It’s scary but exciting, refreshing but exhilarating at the same time, and really beautiful. Just like this meditating kingfisher, photographed by Tamal Debnath, we hold our breath and wait.
