Life is Like a Long Road

Life is like a long road. From the day you step out and leave the door behind from which you grew, you are always heading home.
What is your journey all about? You choose different paths and courses in life, but ultimately, all roads leads to one place…home, our destination. But then again, we are always setting new destinations. And as Henry Miller says “One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.”
That’s what we do, don’t we?

All Roads Lead to San Antonia de Los Cobres

All Roads Lead to San Antonia de Los Cobres

This photo taken by Nilla Palmer (Brisbane, Australia) gives the impression that the road always leads to our destination. This photograph was taken while travelling in the Tren de las Nubes (train to/in the clouds), on the third highest railway in the world (over 4,220mts/13,850ft), which leaves from Salta, Argentina. The journey passes through San Antonio de los Cobres, known for its copper mining. The stunning beauty of this arid area captured with élan by the photographer, takes us back to that lively road and makes us wonder where this road is taking us, doesn’t it? What do you think?
