Living in Colors

When you wake up in the morning, do you ever ask yourself what color you feel like today? When you get down from your bed, plan to do things, or sport a new look, do you ever think of the color formation you are going to create? Have you ever believed that every moment you are living creates some kind of pattern?

Look at this photograph, by Mat Zain Abdullah (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia). He took this photo while waiting for a train and happened to look down the platform. The photo creates a nice contrast of blue umbrella against the vibrant yellow of the newly painted zebra crossing. The crisp colors were also helped by the drizzle in the evening which removed all the dust and haze that might linger in the atmosphere. He is lucky enough to capture it. However, is this not happening everyday? Everywhere?

We are creating and living in colors and patterns. Aren’t we just oblivious about it? What do you think? Look around you, look at the photograph again, and share your thoughts with us.

Thanks Mohiuddin Ahmed Ranju for the favourable review on my picture. I appreciate it very much. We should also be grateful to the Almighty God for blessing us with eyesight to enjoy the beauty of our world :)
