Returning Home

What is life but an endless race! We always keep chasing things; success, money, love, happiness- to name a few. Do we ever get it? Yes, but for a limited time. Then begins another race, and you have to put your running shoes on again! Race never ends. Good thing is that, no matter how far you go there’s a place where you can always return. Its your peaceful safe zone, where you get to take shelter. Its here where you return, to take rest and get ready for the next race.

It can be the eyes of a loved ones, a promise to keep, or a dream that you cannot help forgetting. Whatever it is, I call it home. Its here where I get to return after miles of running and winning and losing, just like the Iceland horses in photographer Louise Fahy’s photo, running back to their stables with the dramatic Icelandic landscape behind them. Isn’t it beautiful?
