Thrill of Adventure

How would you feel more than 9000 ft above the ground? What would it take for you to do something like that? The main attraction for an adventure photographer is the journey, the beckoning of the exciting unknown territory. That’s why it is beautiful. They say “the most beautiful things are often time most dangerous.” Isn’t this the feeling you have while looking at the photograph taken by photographer Sanjay Gajjar?

This photograph was taken on the way to Lachung, Sikkim. The word Lachung means “small pass”. It is near to the China border. At an elevation of about 9,600 ft, Lachung is known as the most picturesque village of Sikkim, yet the way to it is very rough, and you can sense that one mistake can put your life in danger. Probably that’s what attracts most to us? What do you think?
