Saint Patrick’s Kiwis by Rodrigo Aliaga
This is another assignment for the Diploma of Food Photography. I took this photo against the window and used a white backdrop. The light passes through the kiwi slices. I cut the kiwi into very thin slices precisely to let the light brighten the kiwi slices. I had to use a toothpick to let the slices stand.
Banana Dessert by Rodrigo Aliaga

The scope of this photo in the Diploma of Food Photography was to take the same photo changing the light direction: backlight, side light, front light, and so on... the backlight always wins. Helps to enhance the curves of the fruits. Creates the feeling of homemade jam, like Granny, used to prepare.
