Blessing in Nepalese Culture is a common Custom. In Western Culture saying, expressing "Thank You" is usually articulated in exchange "for something". Here in Nepal is a rather kind of Greeting which observed everywhere and "for free". This poor boy was very satisfied and glad to be interested in someone enough to take a picture.

This is a photograph of a Thai Elderly Woman sitting outside the hose in Thong Sala, Koh Phangan Island in Thailand, Surat Thani Province. The woman was commonly known by the neighbors and pedestrians walking by. So, she was having a chat with almost every person, who was walking around. What is astonishing for foreigners is the huge respect for the elderly people in Thailand, which is not so common in Western World.

Life of women in the Himalayas is not easy at all. In terms of equal access to men's activities, they are almost the same. While trekking, I've seen many times women carrying heavy stuff up to the top. Here I spotted a Woman Bearer of a basket designated to pick up grass from the hills.
