Different styles in art have been tantalizing humans from the beginning of civilization. It is the style that differs one photographer from another. It defines a photographer’s own interpretation of the subject and showcases his/her unique way of seeing things and expressing them. This course helps photographers develop their own styles, their very own voices through their aesthetic visualization – photography.

The aim of this course is to helps photographers develop their own styles, their very own voices through their aesthetic visualization – photography.

It is a self-paced course, where a learner can proceed at his/her own speed, however, should complete it within the time frame of 4 months..

This 3 credits course costs $75, which includes guide book, course materials, exam fees, and award registration for presenting your work.

FACULTY

Nasrul Eam

Dean, Department of Art and Photography
Light & Composition University

Nasrul has been setting new standards as an author, photographer, editor, educator, and art director for two decades. Currently Dean of the Department of Art and Photography, and Language and Linguistics at Light & Composition University, Nasrul started his professional career in 2000 in the field of advertising and joined Grey Global Group, where he worked with well-known organizations such as Nokia, Coca-Cola, Bata, and Telecom Malaysia. In 2006, he joined Paper Rhyme, under WPP (a British multinational communications, advertising, public relations, technology, and commerce holding company) as Head of Interactive, and at the same time helped in establishing the advertising and event management firms like Spell Bound and Final Avenue. He wrote books such as The Quintessence of Photography: Understanding Composition, for developing artistic vision, and The Essence of Close-up Photography, for developing the basics of photographic vocabulary and exploring close-up photography with an artistic touch. His other books are Illuminating Nature: Moments in Reflection, with vivid examples of nature and wildlife photography, and The Happy Children of the Third World, which touches on the meaning of life, to its core. Nasrul has authored over 50 books on various aspects of art, photography, language, linguistics, and science.
