Hampi is a UNESCO proteced World Heritage Site for its various monuments spread across the village and its surroundings. It is more popular for foreign tourists specially backpackers which is evident from the T-Shirt featuring Che Guevara! The shopkeeper even told me to buy one since ‘many foreigners buy it’!
