This is Mount Osore, which is said to be the place where the dead gather. It is a very snowy place and can only be visited during the warmer months. It is also said that the concentration of sulfur in this area is so high that machinery will become unusable in a short period of time. I took this photo with an iPhone because LEICA is risky.
Getting Ready to Cross The Road Over by Hirotoshi Takano
As my regular routine, on this shooting day, I went to Shibuya Center Street in Shibuya, Tokyo. At the near end of crosswalk just before getting to the street, I noticed the guy tieing his shoe lace in a hurry. Thought he's a very attractive motif, though, I wondered if I should shoot from his front side or not. Then I chose to shoot him from his back side, as there would be an empty space of people in front of him in the moment of traffic light was turning to red.
Start of Shooting by Tetsuhiro Umemura
One of the members of my acquaintance's dance vocal group. She has been asked to take pictures for a while now. One of the photos from the beginning of the shoot. She is a glutton, so when she heard that she was going to be filming a meal scene, she got hungry. We just got together and I'm still in a daze.
