The Street Observer by Ryszard Wierzbicki
This is a photograph of a Thai Elderly Woman sitting outside the hose in Thong Sala, Koh Phangan Island in Thailand, Surat Thani Province. The woman was commonly known by the neighbors and pedestrians walking by. So, she was having a chat with almost every person, who was walking around. What is astonishing for foreigners is the huge respect for the elderly people in Thailand, which is not so common in Western World.
