My husband and I were driving to the lagoon, passing through farmland when we saw an immature black-winged kite. It was the first time I saw this beautiful bird, its eyes attracted me so much and I think it was one of the most beautiful birds I had ever seen.

My husband and I went to a wetland in Alborz province for bird watching. In spring, many birds are seen because it is the mating season. At first we saw a lot of red-necked phalarops. The behavior of this bird was very interesting to me, it was constantly spinning around, so I named it the active bird.

The photograph was taken in my family trip to Puri, Orissa from where my keen interest in photography has started. I was there deserted by my wife and son because I was blamed for not giving enough time to them due to photography. They were even not willing to talk with me. Then suddenly the unnatural and unusual activities of these monkeys made their glum faces smiling, and ease up the situation. I took this shot among too many activities of those huge numbers of monkeys.
